The situation of the three photovoltaic parks planned in the valley of La Fueva, two autonomous and one state-owned, was the focus of the meeting held this Monday morning between the town councils of Palo and La Fueva, together with the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture (FCQ), and the new director of the Aragonese Institute of Environmental Management (Inaga), Luis Simal. It has been a first contact in which the representatives of the two institutions and of the aforementioned foundation have once again expressed their rejection to these projects, in addition to informing Luis Simal of the social rejection to these mega-parks projected in the territory due to the important economic, social and landscape affections. The meeting was attended by Begoña Dorado, mayor of Palo; Carlos Espluga and Teresa Bardajín, deputy mayor and councilor respectively of the City Council of La Fueva; and Juan Antonio Gil, promoter of the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture.
