COLLABORATE WITH US

We are a non-profit organization declared of public utility that depends on public and private donations to carry out its conservation work.
Our main sources of funding are the different public and private grants that cover between 50 and 75% of the cost of our projects and actions.

The rest of our budget comes from our own funds, which we obtain thanks to contributions from the Board of Trustees, private donations and the proceeds from the sale of publications and promotional materials from our own interpretation centers.

SPONSOR A BEARDED VULTURE IN THE WILD

Sponsoring a Bearded Vulture is a fundamental step in the conservation of this species. With your collaboration, you will help drive the conservation of this species through the study of reintroduced and tagged bearded vultures.

It is much more than an act of solidarity: not only will you be supporting their conservation and contributing to reintroduction efforts, but you will also be helping FCQ-led programs that work to eliminate or reduce the threats endangering the survival of these birds.

The presence of bearded vultures in the ecosystems of the Iberian Peninsula is essential for their natural balance. Therefore, contributing to their conservation also means supporting the preservation of these ecosystems.

  • Duration: Depending on the option you choose (annual/lifetime), sponsorship lasts either one year or the entire lifetime of the bearded vulture you decide to sponsor.
  • What the sponsored bearded vulture receives: Monitoring via GPS devices and field techniques, as well as access to assistance if needed and efforts to eliminate or reduce threats.
  • What you receive:
    • A personalized certificate
    • Bearded Vulture Plush Toy
    • A high-quality photograph of the chosen bearded vulture
    • Access to the “Movebank” tracking tool to follow the daily life of your sponsored bird
    • A free guided visit to the Foundation’s visitor centers: the Ecomuseum of Ainsa and the Benía de Onís Visitor Center for you and a companion
    • A detailed life record of your sponsored bearded vulture
