SOS Platform for power lines

The SOS Tendidos Eléctricos Platform is made up of nine entities related to nature conservation, and is born, after a series of previous actions that have placed the true dimension of the problem of power lines, with the main objective of alerting public opinion and administrations about the seriousness of the problem of electrocution and collision of birds in power lines, today, the main cause of unnatural death faced by our most endangered bird species.
The nine organizations that make up the group are mostly conservation NGOs (Ecologistas en Acción, FCQ, SEO/BirdLife, SIECE and WWF Spain), but other professionals and groups dedicated to biodiversity conservation are also present, such as environmental agents (AEAFMA), wildlife hospitals (AMUS and GREFA) or specialized media (Quercus magazine).
