1. Information area

Information on natural values and protected areas.
Service of guided visits to the natural environment.
Nature store (publications, handicrafts and souvenirs related to the fauna of the Pyrenees, local products).

2. Zoo

The Ecomuseum offers an exhibition guided by an informant on birds of prey unable to live in the wild (including a pair of bearded vultures), addressing their fascinating biology, problems and conservation efforts.
The visit takes place through a viewing tunnel with mirrored glass that allows you to observe the irrecoverable birds without disturbing them.

3. Interpretation area

The permanent exhibition of the EcoMuseo de la Fauna Pirenaica invites us to get to know the impressive Pyrenean mountain range where forests and meadows, rivers and waterfalls, crags and gorges, peaks and glaciers, and its flora and fauna are the protagonists. The exhibition begins by introducing us to Aínsa, the Sobrarbe region and the Pyrenees mountain range.
Subsequently, it shows us, in a very visual way, the natural and cultural richness of the Pyrenees, its diverse ecosystems, its people and customs and how to preserve them.
After this introduction, the exhibition will transport us to the mountains, inviting us to enter the forests, crags and peaks of the Pyrenees and discover the multitude of life in each environment.
In addition, we will discover the secrets of the great winged treasure of this mountain range, the bearded vulture.
Audiovisual projection “The mountains of the bearded vulture. Pyrenean biodiversity, a living treasure”.
The projection takes place in a multipurpose room equipped for holding conferences, colloquiums and congresses with a capacity of 80 people.

Live broadcasting from the Ecomuseum

Thanks to the arrival of fiber optics we can see the pair of lammergeyers formed by “Huesos” and “Montañesa” from the zoo.
Both specimens are irrecoverable due to injuries that prevent them from returning to the natural environment.
