DONATION POLICY AND CONDITIONS

The Bearded Vulture Conservation Foundation (FCQ) recommends reading our donation policy before making a donation. This is important to avoid confusion and disagreements later.

Ownership

The ownership of this website is held by the FOUNDATION FOR THE CONSERVATION OF THE BEARDED VULTURE with NIF number G50653179 and registered office at Plaza San Pedro Nolasco, 1-4ºF, 50001 Zaragoza. The Foundation was established on August 2, 1995 and is registered in the Registry of Foundations under state jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice by Resolution of April 23, 2009, with the assigned registration number: 70 / AGR. The FCQ is included in the Tax Regime of non-profit entities and tax incentives for Patronage, described in Law 49/2002, of December 23.

This document regulates the conditions governing the use and making of donations through the website www.quebrantahuesos.org and any other rights and obligations that may arise from the relationship between FCQ and the Donor.

The donor must first complete the corresponding form, including the necessary information to carry out the relationship between both parties, having given their full, unreserved consent and acceptance of each and every one of the conditions published by FCQ at the time the User accesses the aforementioned website.

Responsibility

The donor assumes responsibility for the correct use of the website to make legally validated donations. The donor declares that he or she is over 18 years of age, has the necessary legal capacity, provides truthful and lawful contact information, and will not make any false or fraudulent donations. Anonymous donations will not be accepted in order to comply with anti-money laundering regulations, or from illegal sources, criminal associations or organizations, or donations that are not aligned with the Foundation’s purposes.

Donation Process

Contributions can be made on the website using the established methods and methods. Contributions must be completed following the procedure by filling out the corresponding form on the website. Various payment methods are available:

    Paypal
    Bizum

The requested bank details are protected by a maximum security system that guarantees the integrity and confidentiality of the information provided. Once the donation is registered, confirmation will be sent.

The donor can request a Certificate of Donation, which will be sent to the donor’s email address provided on the form.

All donations made to the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture by a donor who is a tax resident in Spain enjoy a tax deduction:

  • Personal Income Tax (if the donor is an individual)
  • Corporate Corporate Tax (if the donor is a legal entity)

In the case of donations from abroad, tax treatment will be subject to the laws of each country.

By using the Foundation’s website to send a donation, you confirm your acceptance of this donation policy and our Privacy Policy.

The Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture informs you that personal data and any updates made will be processed by the entity in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016. Therefore, the following points are brought to your attention:

  • The purpose of collecting and processing this data is to process the donation and provide the corresponding tax certificate.
  • The legitimacy of processing is based on the consent of the data subjects.
  • Regarding data retention criteria, data will not be retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
  • Regarding the communication of data, it will not be disclosed to third parties, except under legal obligation.

As an interested party, you have the right to: withdraw your consent at any time, exercise your right to access, rectify, transfer, and erase your data, and to restrict or oppose processing. To do so, you must send a letter to the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture, Plaza San Pedro Nolasco, 1, 4ºF, 50001, Zaragoza, Spain; Email: fcq@quebrantahuesos.org. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency in the event of non-compliance by the entity.

Donation destinations

Donations from the FCQ website will go to:

  • Bearded vulture reintroduction projects
  • Care and monitoring of tagged and released specimens
  • Environmental conservation projects
  • Scientific studies aimed at better understanding the conservation issues facing the bearded vulture and other alpine species, as well as the species itself
  • Environmental awareness programs
  • Feeding and care of the animals that live in our lodge

 

Donations made do not establish any contractual, associative, or dependent relationship between the donor and the recipient entity, nor do they generate present or future obligations for either party, beyond the receipt and use of funds in accordance with the institutional purposes.

Amount of donations

A minimum donation of €1 is required. Donations must be made in euros and can be one-time or recurring (annual, monthly).

In accordance with article 42 of Royal Decree 304/2014, of May 5, which approves the Regulation of Law 10/2010, of April 28, on the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism, donations of amounts of 100 euros or more imply the obligation for the donor to send a copy of their ID/tax card and complete details of name and surname, address and email.

Cancellation and Return Policy

Cancellations and refunds of donations already made are not accepted. Donors understand and accept that all donations processed on the website are final, and therefore, donors waive their right to request a refund or return. Regarding recurring donations, cancellations will be accepted provided they are notified 15 days in advance.

To cancel a recurring donation, you must notify the FCQ, indicating “Cancellation of recurring donation” by:

Law and jurisdiction of donation policy

Any additional questions regarding the Donation and Privacy Policies are reflected in our Privacy Policy.

The parties are governed by the laws of the Spanish State, expressly waive any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled, and agree to submit, for any dispute or litigation, to the jurisdiction of the competent Courts of the city of Zaragoza.

In the event that any of the clauses of this Donation Policy are declared void, the remaining clauses will remain in effect and will be interpreted taking into account the intention of the parties and the purpose of the clauses.
